The interactive simulation of deformable solids has become a major working area in Computer Graphics. We present a sophisticated material law, better suited for dynamical computations than the standard approaches. As an important example, it is employed to reproduce measured material data from biological soft tissue. We embed it into a state-of-the-art finite element setting employing an adaptive basis. For time integration the use of an explicit stabilized Runge-Kutta method is proposed.en_US
