In this paper, we present a method for comparing shapes and analyzing deformations of 3D image objects. This method is based on the definition of an object model based on multi-source 3D images. Elective application cases of the proposed method consist of the analysis of deformable anatomical structures, useful to support medical diagnosis in routine clinical practice. In particular, preliminary aspects are discussed of a study case regarding heart dynamics.en_US
